Ruba Al-Faraouna is a multimedia artist whose work is deeply connected to her Bedouin heritage. She was born in 1995 at the Shaqib al-Salam Bedouin village near the city of Be’er Sheva and studied photography at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design.

In her work, Al-Faraouna constantly explores ways to redefine and reframe Bedouin history, culture and heritage. Her works are based on research and experimentation with different multimedia techniques and display methods, constantly expanding her range of expression.
